Project description
As we continue to grow our competitiveness delivering technical excellence and innovation to all our clients in the east Africa region. Ecotech has been selected as the highest-ranking bidder and signed its first three years consultancy framework agreement with United States Agency for International Development to East Africa (USAID/East Africa) under the Transition Initiatives for Stabilization (TIS) program for Somalia. The program objectives are to promote stability and community cohesion through infrastructure improvements, and social and cultural activities.
The Consultancy Framework Agreement is for the provision of multi-disciplinary professional and technical services to the USAID/East Africa (USAID/EA) mission’s in Somalia program office with architecture, engineering and environmental services for design review, technical training, construction monitoring & evaluation of more than 400+ infrastructure projects. USAID/EA was implementing medium-scale infrastructure projects with community based organisations and government officials to help rehabilitate and construct local structures such as schools, health posts, community centres, government offices, roads, street lighting, water, waste management and town halls.
Ecotech successfully completed and provided continuous support over the past three years as architecture, engineering and environmental consultant for the Transition Initiatives for Stabilization (TIS) program set up between the USAID/EA and Somalia governments to reduce poverty through economic growth.
