Ecotech is assisting the Kapchorwa district with planning, design and construction supervision of the upgrading of 3-kilometre of Nalondo rural road within the Cheptui town one of the towns in the district. Our consultants are also working with local district maintenance teams and supporting the detail design development, road improvement and management of materials supply.
Rural roads are some of the most important infrastructures when it comes to connecting everyone to the rural area. These are just a few of the ways we help to realise them. The Kapchorwa, Cheptui Road is a rural road in the Eastern region of Uganda.
As part of the overall strategy to promote economic growth, poverty eradication and market integration, the Government of Uganda (GoU) in consultation with Kapchorwa district, which was aimed at improving the rural road network and creating employment opportunities through the use of an appropriate mix of labour and equipment for a well-maintained and sustainable road network. The project focused on the implementation of widening improvement and partial rehabilitation and environmental protection of important but damaged rural roads in each network.
