Project description
The Somalia Stability Fund (SSF) is a multi-donor fund, which supports peace and stability in Somalia. It is designed to strengthen local stability, improve the co-ordination of international support and enhance its delivery, in accordance with the New Deal for Engagement in Fragile States.
Ecotech has been appointed by the Somalia Stability Fund (SSF) as a lead infrastructure consultant to provide technical services for architecture, engineering, environmental and construction management for the delivery of the first major infrastructure projects for Interim Juba Administration (IJA). The Ministry of Finance & Planning (MoF&P), Revenue Authority, Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) and Guesthouse for (MoSA), In addition, we have also completed the feasibility study for the new additional governmental buildings, the new (IJA) Parliament headquarter, Ministry of Agriculture Livestock & Fisheries (MoAL&F), Ministry of Transportation (MoT) and Ministry of Energy, Environmental & Water (MoEE&W).
We have worked closely and collaboratively with IJA, SSF and the implementing agency the Nordic International Support Foundation (NIS) over a number of months to reach the final stage of the project. Ecotech team was helpful in developing the various design iterations during the development stage and seamlessly integrating the designs from the various disciplines involved.
